Where is Farwell?
It is near the center of the state (or the world, depending on who you ask). It is located in Howard County, just off Highway 92, and is surrounded by Ashton Boelus, Dannebrog, Elba, Nysted, Paplin and St. Paul. Don’t blink, with a population of 130 it is indeed unique. Farwell is the home of Nebraska’s oldest Polish Catholic Church (St. Anthony’s). We also have Lukasiewicz Furniture, Carpeting & Appliances (family owned for over 100 years), and Farwell Arms Bed & Breakfast (a large Victorian-style house furnished with antiques.
