Dannebrog, NE "The Danish Capital of Nebraska"
Click here to View a map

Incorporated in 1886, beautiful Dannebrog was named for the national flag of Denmark.    Two festivals are held every year to celebrate our Danish heritage.   “Grundlovsfest”, the first weekend in June, celebrates Danish Independence.  Our “Old Fashioned Danish Christmas” is the second weekend in December.  You will find us a warm, friendly town with a 3+ mile hard surface hike/bike trail, beautiful city park, ball field, historical Columbia Hall, murals, visitors center and much Danish tradition.  We are proud of our Volunteer Fire Dept. & EMS Unit.     www.dannebrog.org
