Platted in 1887, the peaceful village of Dunning is nestled in a valley between the Middle Loup River and the Dismal River in Blaine County, where Scenic Byways/Highways 91 & 2 meet.   Our outlying area is made up of many family ranches, some of which have been in the same family for several generations.   The 109 wonderful folk who live here say it is like stepping back in time to a simpler, more peaceful day
